Dive Sites
DiveOceanus team at Resort host regular excursions to nearby dive sites in the North Malé Atoll. All equipment is provided and there are trips suitable for everyone from beginners to advanced divers.
Nassimoo Thila is an oval-shaped thila that is home to a variety of colorful soft corals. The thila is known for its caves, coral heads, and randomly scattered overhangs. You’ll have the opportunity to see giant trevallies, jacks, dogtooth tuna and many more species of fish. The currents at Nassimoo Thila are usually strong, so it is only recommended for advanced divers.

HP Reef is home to soft coral displays and an abundance of fish. The best diving at HP Reef is found on the southern side of the reef when the current is flowing into the Atoll (from east to west).

Banana Reef was the first dive site to ever be discovered in the Maldives and is still one of the best. The banana-shaped site features caves, gutters and overhangs filled with marine life and soft corals.
Difficulty level: Intermediate
Okobe Thila is one of the most uniquely-shaped thilas in the North Malé Atoll. The reef consists of lots of caves and overhangs and is home to a variety of sea life including eagle rays, jacks, tuna, Napoleon wrasses and banner fish.

Lankan Beyru is fondly referred to as Manta Point, and you can spot them during time of May to December. It is very often considered as a good dive to start the week.
Fish Factory is located on the south side of Kanduoiy-giri Island. It’s one of the most visited dive sites in the North Malé Atoll. The dive site is suitable for divers of all abilities and is where you’ll find an abundance of fish and different species of moray eel.
It’s also where you’ll encounter big schools of stingrays, which is why the site has been given the nickname, Stingray City.
